Winter and Spring

Ride times are flexible. We try to ride in the middle of the day, when the weather is a little more pleasant, this usually means between 11:00 and  5:30 Eastern. Due to not having set ride times, our schedule changes daily so please call or text for availability. We live thirty miles from the park. It is impossible to gather horses, clean and tack up and arrive at the park in under 3 hours.

If you wish to ride, please do not wait until the last minute to call. We love to take our winter visitors riding and try to accommodate all days and times within reason, as long as we have enough notice. For those that just found out about us and it is the last day of your vacation, it is always worth a shot to call and see if we are already coming down for scheduled rides and we will try our best to fit you in.

Summer (June 1 – August 30)

We ride Monday evening through Friday morning. On rare occasion, we might open up other time slots if we had to cancel a time slot due to weather. We DO NOT schedule rides for weekends from Easter through October 1. We like to give the horses 2.5 full days of rest each week as they work very hard at their job and deserve it.

These are the time slots we offer, depending on the day:

  • 7:00 AM (sunrise)
  • 8:15 AM
  • 6:00 AM
  • 7:15 PM (sunset)

We are very busy during the summer and are usually booked out weeks in advance with the exception of a few slots.  If you are interested in riding, we recommend calling at least two weeks prior to your arrival to book your ride. We do not mind if you call a month+ in advance. That is the best bet on getting the date and time you desire.

Tips for booking in the Summer:

  • Families with smaller children typically prefer morning rides if they are available.
  • Try to book for Monday or Tuesday of the week you are here that way if there is a cancellation due to weather, we can move you to end of week if scheduling allows. If you book for Thursday or Friday and you get rained out, odds are there is nowhere to move you.

ALL summer rides are one hour in length.
